5 day Butler Introduction Course:
The School teaches the traditional skills of the bygone (British style) butler which never change and are as much in demand now as in days past. However, the training takes you into the modern world and equips you for the demanding but nevertheless satisfying aspects of the traditional skills linked to today’s needs for the traditional butler and his staff to run a sizeable private residence and household; from receiving important guest to hiring of staff and negotiating with tradesmen for the purchasing of provisions and essential supplies.
THE INTRODUCTION COURSE WILL BE BASED OVER 40 SUBJECTS

You will learn the skills of taking control of a household such as housekeeping accounts, staff management, health & safety at work, telecommunications, procedures and use of equipment, silver service, the intricacies of wine – its production/storage./handling, also fares & Ticketing plus chauffeur’s duties to name a few.
These necessary skills will be built around the development of deportment, speech, psychological state of mind and the attitude and integrity essential to carry out the most responsible position. For example, it may well be the case that the future employer is overseas, or perhaps a foreigner residing in France (or elsewhere). Nevertheless, the status of a trained butler is second to none in an important household irrespective of where the position is held.
You will learn all the necessary skills to fit the role.
On completion of the course, you will be assessed and awarded a certificate through Chelsea Staff Bureau International, recognised as one of the world best household staffing agency. This training will undoubtedly help you break into the field and gain experience. In addition to private households butler services are being offered in hotels and spas around the world.
